Terczak Overcomes Early Crash to Win 28th Annual Online All American 400!

A tradition born in 1998 and carried on through many generations of racing simulations, the Online All American 400 is the longest running online race, a true testament to the event’s “true short track endurance race” legacy. The 400-lap race is a test of man, machine and internet connections.
Kyle Terczak sped to the Speedway Action Images Pole in qualifying, turning a lap of 17.605 seconds to put the #15 at the front of the starting grid.
From the drop of the green flag, Terczak was the class of the field. That was until lap 31 when an incident at the back of the field blocked the exit of turn 2 just ahead of the leaders. Terczak and defending All American 400 winner Mark Keeteman, Jr. who was running second. Others were collected in the mayhem as the caution flew late, giving almost no warning of the trouble ahead.

Both Terzcak and Keeteman suffered damage and pitted, handing the lead over to 2023 All American 400 Champion Oliver Cordell. Cordell and Winston Deel led the field back to the green flag. Terzcak was able to race up through the field, with only minor damage while Keeteman suffered significant damage and was out of contention for the win for the rest of the race. The first of the long green flag runs occurred from lap 74 to 138, forcing several drivers to make green flag pit stops. A series of quick cautions followed by a 40-lap green run brought the field to the second long run of nearly 130 laps (laps 194-322), by this point Kyle Terzczk was back at the front of the field. Terzcak had to hold off several late race charges in the final 75 laps, including a side-by-side duel with Winston Deel that carried on for many laps. Chase Pierce, Brandon Wilkinson and Blaidyn Edwards.

A late race run of just under 25 laps brought the race to a close, with the final caution flying on lap 371 when Carson Lucas and Oliver Cordell made contact. Terczak fended off a few challenges but placed the #15 out front and never looked back. Chase Pierce (2nd), Brandon Wilkinson (3rd), Blaidyn Edwards (4th) and Winston Deel (5th) rounded out the top five finishers. Nathan Koester (6th), Travis Wright (7th), John Cannizzaro (8th), Braxton Deweese (9th) and Lane Hosler (10th) completed the top ten finishers. 13 drivers completed all 400 laps with 21 of the 36 starters running at the checkered flag.

The win was Terzcak’s first in the Online All American 400, a race that paid a out a record purse of over $700. Terzcak’s share of the purse was $270.
