Tweedcast Digital Creations Truck Series – Talladega Playoff Spotlight
Playoff Race 5 of 7 – Talladega Superspeedway
The fifth race of the 2025 Tweedcast Digital Creations Truck Series Playoffs delivered another classic at Talladega — 21 lead changes among 10 drivers and only one caution in 57 laps. The pack ran tight all night, and when the dust settled, Andy Warren emerged victorious, scoring his first win of the playoffs and 10th on the 2025 season by just 0.004 seconds over Jim Foose.
Fuel mileage, drafting alliances, and green flag pit stops were the keys to survival in the playoff’s biggest wildcard race.
Andy Warren – P1: Broke through for his first playoff win, extending his championship lead to 2,234 pts.
Jim Foose – P2: Missed the win by inches, huge points day moves him up to 4th in the standings (-84).
Jason Pick – P9: Smart, steady race kept him clear of trouble, holds 8th in points (-104).
Allan Young – P10: Avoided the chaos to secure another top-10; sits 3rd overall (-72).
Jake Morris – P12: Tried to stretch fuel to the finish but came up short; gained a spot, now up to 6th in points (-99).
Jordan Morris – P14: Also gambled on fuel mileage; still 9th in points (-111).
Harley Wegman – P15: Attempted the same fuel strategy, finishing just outside the top 10; drops to 5th in points (-89).
AJ Crews – P18: Early damage derailed his run, but he holds 2nd in points (-67).
Jamie Moore – P20: Contact and damage late dropped him two spots in the standings down to 7th (-100).
Ryan Strunk – DNS: Did not start; remains 10th in points (-138).
Joey Lamm – DNS: Also a DNS; stays 11th in points (-175).
Dale Weiser – DNS: Did not start; sits 12th (-215), must-win situation heading into Martinsville.
