Allan Young Stars in Charlotte, Winning One Hot Night!

A field of 24 drivers assembled (of 27 eligible) at the virtual Charlotte Motor Speedway to host a race that could only be called “ONE HOT NIGHT”. The 70-lap affair was slowed only twice for cautions (caution laps did not count toward the race’s 70 lap distance).  The final restart came with ten laps to go and came down to a classic battle between two ASR Championship winning drivers as Andy Warren and Allan Young battled, Young quickly took advantage of eight lap fresher tires to blast to the lead and never looked back as the race ran green to the end.  Joey Lamm (2nd), Christian Angel (3rd), Andy Warren (4th) and Jonathan Holstein (5th) completed the top five.

The race featured several throwback paint schemes with Young bringing the Jeff Gordon Looney Tunes Chevrolet to Victory Lane.
