(CLEVELAND, OH) The 2020 American Sim Racing Series & American E-Sports Association Premier Series schedules have been released.
A realignment of the ASRS Cup Series, which will race 16 times in 2020 including a four race Playoff. Besides the usual venue swapping the schedule will see the addition of the Charlotte Roval, along with the rotating of dates that brings Chicagoland, Texas and Indianapolis back onto the schedule. Homestead-Miami will no longer host the Championship race as the south Florida track moves to the opener, ISM Raceway in Phoenix will host the championship race.
The Sam Maxwell Customs Truck Series returns for the 16th season and features 25 dates at 25 tracks, 24 of which are returning from the 2019 schedule. The Milwaukee Mile replaces Lucas Oil Raceway on the schedule as the historical mile returns to the schedule for the first time since 2016. The Playoffs feature a different look as Gateway and Martinsville move the Playoffs, while Homestead-Miami moves to March and the former Lucas Oil Raceway date moves to Martinsville.
Both the Cup and SMC Truck Series will once again be part of the combined Premier Series championship.
