Kohan Strikes First as Chase Kicks off at Richmond!

In a race that looked like non-Chase contender Anthony Debaro was going to take the victory, the script was flipped with a late race caution and pit stop. With nine laps to go, Nick Kohan, 2015 ASR Cup Series Champion, found himself leading the field, he held off a late charge from Debaro to score his fifth win of the 2026 season. Debaro, AJ Crews (3rd), Skyler Dixon (4th) and Christopher Bouchard (5th) completed the top five.

Kohan’s charge up the Chase standings fell just a point short of leader and defending Tweedcast Truck Series Champion Andy Warren. Christopher Bouchard is tied with Kohan on points, but with less wins loses the tiebreaker. AJ Crews sits -3 points in fifth.

The Tweedcast Truck Series heads to America’s Heartland next week and Kansas Speedway for Round #2 of The Chase.
