Wright Makes Right Moves to Win at Thompson

(THOMPSON, CT) The ASRS Home Track Series Kirkwood Transportation Super Late Model Tour was back in action Wednesday night at the famed Thompson Speedway. A fantastic car count as 28 drivers took the green.

Travis Wright showed he was the man to beat in qualifying as he would grab the pole, Jason Stewart would fill out the rest of the front row with Zac Coyer starting third, Johnathan Holstein fourth, and John Martin rounding out the top 5 qualifiers.

Wright showed he not only had qualifying speed but race pace as well as he would go on and lead all 75 laps in route to the checkers. Corey Silva was less than a second back to grab the runner up spot. Jim Foose with a good run starting in the 16th position and finishing 3rd. Jared Mogard and Jeremy Banning would round out the top 5.

Next up for the ASRS home track will be South Boston Speedway.
