(LAS VEGAS, NV) The Kirkwood Transportation Super Late Model series was in action Wednesday night in the desert at The Bullring. A fan favorite which always seems to bring exciting racing and bent sheet metal. Starting from the outside of the front row, last week’s runner up Corey Silva would grab the win. Silva showed speed all night and will be one to watch as the series stretches on.
Pole sitter Allan Young would finish just behind Mitch Brown with Matt Vaade charging from the 18th starting position to finish fourth and Mogard fifth. After two races Silva sits atop the points with Mogard only 3 points behind in 2nd. With only 12 races in the series, every race counts.
Mogard, Young, and Silva have shown they all have the speed week in and out to win the championship. Justin Blackdeer sits in 5th right now and had a top ten finish tonight in the 8th spot.
Up next for the 800 horsepower supers is Thompson Speedway for 75 laps of action.
