(Lakeland, FL) The ASRS Home track series switched gears from dirt to asphalt for the next 12 races as the Kirkwood Transportation Super Late Model Tour hit the track. 30 cars would hit the track at USA International Speedway for 75 laps of short track excitement that only comes with powerful super late models.
Jared Mogard would find the checkers as a very competitive race would have 16 cars finishing on the lead lap. Corey Silva found the runner up spot followed by Allen Young in third, Ty “The Fly” Hester in fourth, and Justin Blackdeer rounding out the top 5.
The Home Tracks Series is the backbone of auto racing in the US as thousands of fans, drivers, and team owners flock to their local tracks every Friday and Saturday night.
On the team side of things after one race MO2 Motorsports is on top followed by LA Simsport, Alpha Tango Racing, Travis Wright Racing and Elevation Motorsports Racing rounding out the top 5 teams.
Next up for the ASRS ground pounders will be the Bullring in the desert. 100 laps of bumper to bumper and door to door action.
