“We are very excited to bring dirt racing to ASRS and our 2017 campaign was successful, we accomplished many of our original goals for this expansion, but I felt we needed to run the 410 Sprints in order to call ourselves serious dirt racers.  Those are my favorite dirt cars and pairing them with the always popular UMP Modifieds is about as good as it gets” ASRS President Jim Foose said.  “We only had eight weeks to work with for this season, and doing the alternating format we ran last summer would have severely limited our number of races for each car, so this is a compromise for me in terms of the variety in cars but the schedule is loaded with great tracks, in fact we hit every dirt track on iRacing except USA International this season, and have two dates at Eldora, Volusia and Knoxville scheduled”.
