“As one of the longest running online races, this event has seen many formats and several changes over the years” said ASRS President Jim Foose.  “This year’s line up is one of the most competitive I have seen in my 14 years of racing in it, it’s a prestigious race and one that every short track iracer wants to win, it’s like the Daytona 500 for us, when you win the race you don’t become just a winner, you become a champion!”

“There’s been much discussion of the hosting track for this event each year, and I would like nothing more than to return it to Nashville in 2017 for the 20th running, but that depends on many factors, some of which are out of my control” Foose continued.  “USA International has been a great host for the race and gives us that feel of the glory days at Nashville, it’s just a bit bigger and really suits these cars.  No other track on the iRacing service has that feel for us”.
