(CLEVELAND, OH) The ASRS Pro Series is just two races into it’s return and already has a name change, Skeeber Flob’s Kettle Corn has joined ASRS to become the title sponsor of the ASRS Skeeber Flob’s Kettle Corn Pro Series.  (Yes, that’s a mouthful but once you try Skeeber Flob’s Kettle Corn you will have a mouth full of tasty kettle corn!)

The partnership which became active this week, will sponsor the remaining races on the 2016 schedule as well as the entire 2017 schedule and will include sponsorship of the October 26th event at South Boston Speedway.

“The Pro Series features many of the local short tracks and Skeeber Flob’s knows the importance of supporting local businesses” said Jonathan Holstein, driver of the #70 Skeeber Flob’s Kettle Corn Chevrolet.

Team owner Lee Staples of L.A. SimSport had the following to say about ASRS and the Skeeber Flob’s Kettle Corn Pro Series;  “The ASRS is on an upward trajectory and the sky”s the limit. Our team just left a league with dwindling car counts to join Jim Foose”s league and the difference is like night and day. Jim puts in the hard work that’s required to run this thing everyday and it shows. His dedication to this league over many many years has been unwavering. The Pro Series provides a platform to bring life back to cars that were discarded years ago. Cars aren’t made for museums, or to rust in junkyards, they are made to race. I can speak for all of my teammates at L.A. Simsport that we are truly excited to be racing in a league for the first time in a long time. We look forward to competing in the Pro Series and all ASRS Series for 2017.”

ASRS President Jim Foose called the partnership “the biggest thing to happen to ASRS this year, to have a partner join us in this great series and help us build it is excellent, our drivers already know that we have great racing here at ASRS, but now we have even more resources to spread the word and grow the series along with growing the Skeeber Flob’s Kettle Corn brand”.

An additional prize is now on the table for drivers, if a race goes caution free Jonathan Holstein has donated $5 to a random driver in the field, so you don’t have to win the race to collect the prize.
