(CLEVELAND, OH) Short Track Racing is alive and well in the simulated world and the ASRS All American Challenge Series offers the best short track racing on the iRacing service. Beginning June 18th the Super Late Models will compete in the All American Challenge Series, which will wrap up with the 23rd Annual Online All American 400 scheduled for Saturday, November 14th at the famed Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
The schedule will consist of America’s best short track’s including the kickoff on June 18th at the historic North Wilkesboro Speedway. The famed ⅝ mile features an uphill backstretch and downhill frontstretch and will be added to the iRacing service just in time for the kickoff event. The official schedule will be released later this month.
“Short tracks are where we got our start as a league and have always been a huge part of our program with ASRS I’m excited to continue that tradition in 2020 with the All American Challenge Series” stated ASRS Promoter Jim Foose. “We have the longest running online race, which is a short track race, in the Online All American 400, and it would be a big gap if we did not have Super Late Models on our regular season schedule, Thursday nights are primed for us to bring the best short track racing to the iRacing community”.
Races staged as part of the 2020 All American Challenge Series will count towards the newly acquired United Shorttrack Alliance, which will determine eligibility for major short track events in 2020 including the 23rd Annual Online All American 400 scheduled for November 14th.
