(CLEVELAND, OH) HRE Motorsports, a team competing in the ASRS Home Tracks Series along with numerous dirt racing leagues on the iRacing Motorsports Simulation platform has joined forced with ASRS to bring the ASRS HRE Motorsports Super Truck Series to the track beginning in June.

The HRE Motorsports Super Truck Series focuses on competition, short tracks and driver development for the premier series of ASRS, including both the Sam Maxwell Customs Truck Series and Sim Marketing Solutions Cup Series.  The same trucks that compete on Tuesdays will hit the track on Wednesday nights as a “throwback” of sorts to the formative years of NASCAR Truck racing.

Restrictions on driver eligibility will see drivers with a combined three or more wins in the premier series excluded from competition.  That will exclude top drivers like Jared Mogard, Brian Yaczik and others from competition and allow lesser experience drivers a chance to compete for wins.  Further restrictions will come in the form of field size, which will be limited to a maximum of 24 starters at each event. Heat races will be used to set the field for two events, the lone dirt track event at Volusia Speedway Park on July 10th and the Five Flags Speedway event on August 7th.

The series will celebrate the rich history of the NASCAR Truck Series, as five tracks that appeared on the inaugural NASCAR Super Truck Series schedule in 1995 appear on the inaugural season schedule, those tracks are: Bristol Motor Speedway, ISM Raceway, Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis, The Milwaukee Mile, and Richmond Raceway. Additionally the series will turn right and left at the picturesque Lime Rock Park road course on July 24th.  All ovals on the schedule are one mile or less in length.
