(CLEVELAND, OH) The offseason is about to become a thing of the past in just three days as the start of the 2019 American Sim Racing Series season is upon us.
The Sim Marketing Solutions Cup Series has the honors of kicking off the 2019 slate with the first race of the new year on the well aged surface of Atlanta Motor Speedway. The event a 200 mile affair will mark a fresh start for all including a handful of rookies who have made ASRS home for the 2019 season.
65 drivers have completed the registration process for the new American E-Sports Association Premier Series License, with ten more invites unanswered at press time.
Wednesday night’s Home Tracks Series sees a slightly modified format from 2018 with the dirt and asphalt series running concurrently, sharing the spotlight each week. The Dirt Racing Series will compete with Super Late Models and UMP Modifieds while the asphalt side will consist of the Super Late Model. Each series runs bi-weekly through the end of May.
