The ASRS Triple Crown returns to action this December, as three distinct dirt cars hit the same track over three nights of racing after the turkey dinner has settled and the holiday shopping rush has begun.

The #DecemberDirtWeek Triple Crown will feature the 410 winged sprints, non winged sprint cars and Super Late Models racing around the track in 30 lap feature events.  Each event will feature qualifying heat races and last chance qualifiers if necessary that run before the feature event.

Thursday, December 14th will be all about the winged 410 sprints.

Originally, the dirt cars were going to hit USA International Speedway two weeks after the All American 400, however plans changed once the ASRS DIRT RACING SERIES raced on the ¾ mile track and the majority of drivers agreed the track was just a little too big for the close racing expected from the dirt cars.  “I originally thought Lakeland would be perfect for this kind of event, but we didn’t put on very good races there in our first trip on dirt and for a marquee event like this I thought we would be better off at a smaller venue and one with actual dirt racing history” Jim Foose stated.

Eldora Speedway is expected to host the event.  The Triple Crown will be the send off for the 2017 season, as it is the final event on the 2017 calendar.
