Kohan Swings for the Fence at Kansas, Wins!

Nick Kohan entered Kansas Speedway as the driver with the biggest jump in the standings after the Chase Opener at Richmond Raceway last week, and he wasn’t about to be denied a chance to leap to the top of the standings. In a race that saw green flag pit stops, a caution and a 20 lap sprint to the checkered flag, Kohan came in clutch. Anthony Debaro (2nd), Allan Young (3rd), Joey Lamm (4th) and AJ Crews (5th) completed the top five in a race that is sure to be remembered at the end of the season as a turning point.

Nick Kohan finds himself atop the Chase Standings after two races, leading defending Champion Andy Warren by 12 points. AJ Crews sits tied with Warren in third. Allan Young and Joey Lamm sit 4th and 5th tied at -20 points from the lead.
