Durand Scores Chicagoland Victory!

The Tweedcast Truck Series headed to Chicagoland Speedway for the fifth round of the Playoffs and it was Justin Durand stealing the show.  After scoring the Speedway Action Images Quick Time Pole Award Durand led the field to the green flag but it quickly became the AJ Crews show as Crews blasted by to take the lead.  A caution around lap 30 brought the entire field to pit road just on the edge of a fuel window.  Crews, Andy Warren, Allan Young and Durand took turns swapping the lead in what was at times a three wide battle for the top spot.  Crews ran out of fuel on the final lap and dropped back while Justin Durand sailed to victory over Allan Young (2nd), Andy Warren (3rd), Corey Silva (4th) and Michael Spengler (5th) completed the top five.

Warren extended his championship lead over second place by one point, but defending champion Allan Young is now second in the championship.

The Tweedcast Truck Series heads to Phoenix Raceway next week for the penultimate round of the season!
