Bouchard Takes First Ever Tweedcast Truck Street Race!

It’s rare to experience firsts when a series has been running for 22 seasons, but the ASR Tweedcast Truck Series did just that, completing their first race on a street course with the running of the St. Pete Grand Prix.

Christopher Bouchard enjoyed the street racing so much he went out and led all but one lap and won the race from the pole. Ryan Strunk (2nd) and Harley Wegman (3rd) completed the 42 lap event on the lead lap while Joey Lamm (4th) and AJ Crews (5th) both finished one lap down to complete the top five.

With The Chase lurking in just two races, the field is getting into post-season form with the top ten in the standings locked into The Chase, leaving just two spots up for grabs at the Tweedcast Truck Series heads to North Wilkesboro next week.
