14-Seed Jaycox Completes Cinderella Run, Wins May Madness Title!

May Madness delivered one final dramatic twist Tuesday night at Michigan International Speedway.

After entering the tournament as the No. 14 seed, Kevin Jaycox completed an improbable Cinderella run through the bracket to capture the 2026 May Madness championship in the Tweedcast Digital Creations Truck Series.

The championship battle between top-seeded Andy Warren and Jaycox came down to the closing moments at Michigan. Warren appeared to have the advantage late in the race, but an incident on the final lap left him limping to the finish with a flat tire, opening the door for Jaycox to capitalize.

Jaycox brought home a fourth-place finish while Warren faded to 10th, officially securing the May Madness title for the No. 14 seed.

Jaycox’s path to the championship included victories over:

* (6) Matt Vaade
* (10) Caleb Ramsey
* (1) Andy Warren

The improbable run capped off four weeks of elimination racing that featured upsets, close finishes, and dramatic bracket shakeups from start to finish.

May Madness began with 16 drivers at Texas. In the end, it was Kevin Jaycox standing alone as champion.
