Bouchard Breaks Through To Victory Lane at Nashville!
The Tweedcast Truck Series roared into Nashville for the annual stop at the Nashville Superspeedway, a race that has become a can’t miss each year since returning to the schedule in 2021.
Travis Wright led the field to the green flag, but that didn’t last long as Wright was slow to the line, allow Christopher Bouchard to get out front, officials penalized Bouchard for jumping the start, handing the lead over to Andy Warren as the caution flew for a multi-truck incident. Warren would lead before handing the lead over to Allan Young, a lead Young will hold for 33 laps before Bouchard battled back to the lead from the rear of the field, a cycle of green flag pit stops would see several drivers take turns leading before Bouchard passed Travis Wright to take the lead back. Bouchard would continue pulling away as the battle for second saw Wright, Jim Foose and Young all take turns in the runner-up spot before eventually Young would take the spot for good. Bouchard cruised to victory while Allan Young (2nd), Jim Foose (3rd), Andy Warren (4th) and Jake Morris (5th) completed the top five.
Andy Warren holds a 51 point lead over Harley Wegman as the Tweedcast Truck Series heads to the Irish Hills of Michigan and Michigan International Speedway next week before taking summer break.
