Bishop Tames The Rock

Barrett Bishop dominated the Grand National Series return to Rockingham Speedway, taking the lead from pole-sitter Jordan Harnish just before halfway and cruising to victory in a caution-free 100-lap showdown. Aside from two laps during green-flag pit stops, Bishop never relinquished control. Allan Young (2nd), Brian Pinnow (3rd), Jason Pick (4th), and Jim Foose (5th) rounded out the top five finishers.

With the win, Bishop takes over the points lead from Casey Brunson, who was absent from Rockingham. He now holds a 17-point advantage over Allan Young as the series rolls into Talladega Superspeedway next Wednesday.
