Papini Coasts to Phoenix Victory!
Alex Papini stormed into Phoenix Raceway for his ASR Grand National Series debut and left the competition in the dust, cruising to a masterful victory. With a pit stop 80 laps from the finish, Papini was able to conserve enough fuel to claim the checkered flag in the desert showdown. The win marked a triumphant start to his campaign, as he outshone a stacked field under the Arizona sun.
Behind him, Casey Brunson fought hard to secure 2nd, followed closely by Danny Rodgers in 3rd, Jason Pick in 4th, and Justin Walters rounding out the top five in 5th. The tight racing showcased the series’ fierce competition, with every position hard-earned on the iconic oval.
In the championship standings, Casey Brunson maintains his grip on the points lead after two events, holding a slim seven-point edge over Jeremy Steele. The Grand National Series keeps the western momentum rolling, heading next to the Sin City for a showdown at Las Vegas Motor Speedway next Wednesday.
