The ASR Grand National Series returns to action after a two year hiatus. Featuring the NASCAR Xfinity Cars, the Grand National Series will begin a 14-race schedule in February and crown the Grand National Spring Champion at the end of May. Featuring tracks of the NASCAR Xfinity Series, both past and present, the Grand National Series looks to give drivers an opportunity to race on the best tracks on the service.

 

The Grand National Series will feature the same rules package as the ASR Tweedcast Truck Series; fixed setups, 3 sets of tires per race and the same race rules that the trucks utilize. Opening the season at Daytona International Speedway in February, quickly heading west to Phoenix and Las Vegas before returning East to race at Atlanta, which will be scheduled in early March to separate the “pack racing” tracks. Homestead-Miami and Auto Club Speedway wrap up the month of March. Darlington, Bristol, Rockingham, Talladega and Chicagoland Speedways fill the month of April. The month of May features three races with North Wilkesboro hosting the series on May 7th, Charlotte and Nashville Superspeedway concluding the season.

 

Additional races, including a possible Fall Season will be made possible with participation in the series and based on the quality of the racing each week.
