Duda Takes Trucks at Iowa

It was a Duda sweep at Iowa as Jim Duda led the field to the green flag by winning the Speedway Action Images Quick Time Award.   But Jared Duda was the one who brought home the checkered flag with a late race pass of Jordan Harnish and Matt Vaade, who led a race high 60 laps.  The victory would be Jared Duda’s first in Tweedcast Truck Series competition.  Jordan Harnish (2nd), Richmond winner Justin Durand (3rd), Michigan winner AJ Crews (4th) and Travis Wright (5th) completed the top five.

On the Playoffs side of things Christian Angel and Jim Foose secured their spots in the Playoffs while Jeremy Banning just has to start the race next week at The Milwaukee Mile.  Joey Lamm has 21 points over the cut line, while Jamie Moore sits in by just 9 points, Vaade sits 10th just 8 points ahead of Corey Silva, who dropped out at Iowa after an early crash.  Harley Wegman -11, Michael Whiting -15 and Jonathan Holstein -35 remain mathematically eligible for the Playoffs next week.

The Milwaukee Mile hosts its annual Tweedcast Truck Series event next week, the Milwaukee 80.
