Durand Finds Richmond Victory Lane!
Richmond Raceway played host to the ASR Tweedcast Truck Series as the second of back-to-back short tracks on the schedule and another new winner found the checkered flag.
Justin Durand led just 7 laps but found himself out front as the checkered flag fell when overtime was cut short due to a caution.
After nearly a 90-lap green flag to open the Richmond 100, the caution flew and bunched the field up for late race chaos. Justin Durand led the final seven laps to pick up the Richmond 100 over Jordan Harnish (2nd), Andy Warren (3rd), Matt Vaade (4th) and Jeff Dillon (5th).
Warren extended his championship lead to 74 over Allan Young, who will clinch a spot in the Playoffs by taking the green flag next week at Michigan.
The Tweedcast Truck Series returns to action next week at Michigan International Speedway.
