Vaade Scores Victory in All American Series Return!
The long-awaited return of short track racing to American Sim Racing saw the All American Series head to South Boston Speedway, the track that started it all for ASR in 2002.
Matt Vaade was one of a dozen or so drivers in that first race 21 years ago and he was the first to take the checkered flag in the Speedway Action Images 125, the first race of the All American Series. Jared Duda, who took the Speedway Action Images Quick Time Award earlier in the evening finished second with Andy Warren (3rd), Jeffrey Clifton, (4th) and Mike Wright (5th) completed the top five finishers.
In all 37 drivers attempted to qualify for 25 starting positions, with Jonathan Holstein taking advantage of his 2013 ASR Modified Series Championship to take the Past Champions Provisional to make the race.
The All American Series heads to Thompson Speedway Motorsports park next week for the second race of the 2023 campaign.
