Michael Spengler Takes Close One at Talladega!

The Pro Cup Series headed to Talladega Superspeedway for the Talladega 125 and what a race it was, with one of the closest finishes in series history when Michael Spengler took the lead coming to the checkered flag and squeezed out a win by .006 seconds over Cory Clark (2nd), Harley Wegman (3rd), Jim Foose (4th) and Allan Young (5th).

Young leads the championship standings by 12 points over a tie between Foose and Andy Warren just 12 points back. The Pro Cup Series heads to Five Flags Speedway for the Pensacola 100 next Wednesday.
