(JOLIET, IL) Mitch Brown hung on to win in a green white checkered finish in the Glass Door Brewing Dash for Cash 200. The race saw an extensive green flag run until a lap car got into the leaders of John Jenkins and Greg Evans with only a few laps to go in the race.
During the first attempt at a finish a second caution came out resulting in the final dash in which Mitch Brown was able to hold of Jimmy Mckee for his 2nd victory of the season. Greg Evans led 52 laps on the day before getting caught up in a late caution. Tyler Saville followed up a strong run at Sonoma with a top 5 at Chicagoland .
The top 7 points position remain unchanged in the points standings as we head into the final few races of the regular season. The battle for the cutoff spot in the championship is about to heat up in the middle of summer.
