(NEWTON, IA) Kelsy Rogers took home the Servpro Grand National Series victory at Iowa Speedway. Rogers started 6th but proved to have an excellent long run car leading the most laps with 53.
Rogers picked up his 2nd win of the season in the Grand National Series. Sam Maxwell led the 2nd most laps with 52 but faded late in the run to Rogers coming home 4th. James Lorello started from the pole and finished 3rd. Daniel Gutierrez finished 2nd with Jason Stewart rounding out the top 5.
Points leader Michael Chrobok gambled on pit strategy by staying out as late as possible on green flag pit stops ending up in 10th place. The race saw only one caution and excellent green flag racing. Chrobok maintains a healthy points lead over Sam Maxwell in the championship standings.
