(CLEVELAND, OH) The American Sim Racing Series (ASRS) and Hacksaw PCs (hacksawpcs.com) have joined forces to bring the 2019 ASRS Hacksaw PCs All Star Race at Chicagoland Speedway to life.
The ASRS Hacksaw PCs All Star Race is a 200 mile endurance race which will feature a fresh format for 2019 that includes tire limits takes place Tuesday, November 26. The Chicagoland Speedway with its original asphalt from 2001 features an abrasive racing surface that creates multiple racing grooves. For the first time in the history of the ASRS Hacksaw PCs All Star Race the race will have the possibility of being extended by a late race caution, in that case a green-white-checkered finish will occur.
Another first for the ASRS Hacksaw PCs All Star Race, the race will be broadcasted live by 3 Wide TV.
Drivers have three ways to qualify into the ASRS Hacksaw PCs All Star Race:
- Win an ASRS sanctioned race during the 2019 calendar year or be a qualified former ASRS Champion.
- Win the All Star Open race, a special 75 mile event run one week prior to the ASRS Hacksaw PCs All Star Race that features all non-winners from 2019. Only the winner transfers.
- The Fan Vote winner will qualify for the ASRS Hacksaw PCs All Star Race. Only Premier Series drivers are eligible for the Fan Vote. Click here to cast a vote for your favorite driver
“We’re incredibly excited to have Nick and the whole team at Hacksaw PC’s join us at ASRS for our All Star Race, the only event on our schedule that drivers have to win to be a part of the event” Jim Foose ASRS Promoter. “This year’s event features some tweaks to the format with the addition of the green-white-checkered finish and the tire limit, both should provide us with even better racing and a little strategy throughout the race”.
