(CLEVELAND, OH) If a $100 purse wasn’t enough to fire up your Gaming PC’s and join the Twitchy Race Reports Triple Crown, maybe a total purse of $200 will get you to join in the fun.
TJBDesignsMO.com has added $100 to the purse for the 2018 Twitchy Race Reports Triple Crown, the added money will be divided amongst the top three in the three race championship standings and race winners. Previously, each race winner received $25 and an additional $25 was available if a driver could sweep the series, or to the overall champion if nobody swept the series. The added purse money will now see $40 going to each race winner and the sweep bonus/championship prize will also increase to $40. Second place overall will receive $25 and the third place in the championship standings will receive $15.
Last year’s inaugural Twitchy Race Reports Triple Crown saw Brad Cross win the first two events before Kris Titus stole the show in the final at Eldora Speedway. Despite Titus’ win in the finale, Cross was still able to hold onto the championship.
New for 2018, the UMP Modified will replace the Pro Late Model, and all three tracks on this year’s schedule are new. The Series kicks off April 5th at Knoxville Raceway before moving to Limaland Motorsports Park and wrapping up at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
“Our entry into the dirt racing world has been fun and well received, with last year being our first dirt event, we learned quite a few things to do and of course what not to do, this year’s Twitchy Race Reports Triple Crown Presented by TJBDesignsMO.com should be the best dirt event we’ve run to date” said ASRS President Jim Foose. “The modifieds are so competitive and a real blast to drive, I’m really looking forward to seeing the challenges that 50 lap races at three distinctly different race tracks brings us this year”.
