Twitchy Race Reports

(ROSSBURG, OH)  Wednesday Night’s the dirt track night as the Street Stocks and the Late Models were in action from the Eldora Speedway. Featuring a 30 lap Street Stock event and a 30 lap Late Model Event. There would be 13 drivers in attendance for the Street Stocks and 11 drivers in attendance for the Late Models.

First up would be the Street Stocks and it would see Tyler Reed grab the pole bringing the field to green with Kris Titus 2nd, Brad Cross 3rd, Zac Bozanich 4th, and Jared Mogard 5th. The race had a couple yellows but the racing action under green was good. Brad Cross would get to the lead and would look tough yet again to beat. Fellow teammate Zac Bozanich would however try and challenge Cross for the lead and would do so for a few laps. The two drivers would trade slide jobs before Zac would get crossed up and ended up spinning out ending his chances at victory.

When the checkers flew no surprise was made as Brad Cross picked up yet another victory on dirt. This would be Cross’s 10th Career ASRS Victory. Richard Stallings was 2nd, Jim Foose 3rd, Kris Titus 4th, and Jared Mogard 5th.

For the Late Models Brad Cross was the fastest in qualifying with Kris Titus 2nd, Nick Coffman 3rd, Zac Bozanich 4th, and Jared Mogard 5th. The quick 30 lap event would go green to checker with no cautions as Brad Cross would drive away picking up the sweep of the action again in the dirt series cruising to his 11th ASRS Victory. Zac Bozanich was 2nd, Kris Titus 3rd, John Kennedy 4th, and Richard Stallings rounded out the top 5.

Next week the dirt series heads to the Sprint Cars for their scheduled double header.
