(CONCORD, NC) Justin Blackdeer was one of the first ASRS drivers back in 2002, but he left racing for a bit and has returned full time in 2016 in the Super Late Model Tour.  Concord Motorsports Park has had a spotty history in ASRS competition hosting races in the mid-2000’s before dropping off the schedule until one race in 2012 and returning again in 2015.

Rex Hoyle led the field to the green flag in the #50 Ford with Blackdeer’s #51 to the outside.  Hoyle would jump to the lead off the line and held the lead through the first caution on lap 68, Hoyle would give up the lead to Matt Vaade in lap 74 before Blackdeer took over the lead on lap 75.  Blackdeer would not look back as he would lead 26 laps en route to his first ASRS win.  Vaade would bring his #8 home second, Andrew McCall was third, newcomer Cody Leland was fourth and Eric Spencer rounded out the top five.
