(KENLY, NC) The ASRS Super Late Model Tour took to the Southern National Motorsports Park, a return that was nearly six years in the making. Rex Hoyle was also making a return on his own, returning to ASRS for the first time in two years and he made the most of it.
Justin Blackdeer and Shawn Musick led the way to the green flag, Blackdeer would lead 57 laps. The race’s first caution flew on lap 7 for Steve Buhala’s #43, after going back green the race went 57 laps before the second caution flew for Ernest Smith, Jr’s #34.
Nick Kohan took an 8 lap shot at the lead, before giving way for the #50 of Rex Hoyle to take the lead and never look back. Hoyle would score the win, with Kohan trailing in second, Blackdeer third, Ben Nile fourth and Jim Foose rounded out the top five in the #42.
Matt Vaade leads the championship standings by 18 over Douglas Nelson.
