Crews Tames Chicagoland, Championship Battle Heats Up!

AJ Crews did it all right, after starting fourth Crews avoided a near disaster on the first lap as Championship Leader Allan Young was sent sliding and into the wall from the 3rd starting position.  Crews would have to fight for the lead with Pole Winner Eric McCarthy but eventually would take the lead and not look back on green flag pit stops.  Andy Warren (2nd), Steve Whitmore (3rd), Dale Weiser (4th) and Christopher Hockley (5th) completed the top five finishers after 75 laps in the Young Gun Creations 113.

Allan Young watched his nine-point lead become just a two-point lead heading into the final two races of the Tweedcast Truck Series.  Defending Champion Andy Warren now sits second just two points behind Young, while AJ Crews (-10) and Jim Foose (-28) remain in contention for the championship.  The Tweedcast Truck Series heads to Phoenix Raceway next week for the penultimate round of the 2024 season.
