The Sim Marketing Solutions Cup Series is back in action after nearly two months on the sidelines.  Just three races remain until the Playoffs with Jared Mogard leading the championship standings.  Watkins Glen is the first road course on the series schedule since 2015 and is sure to shake things up.  At the bottom of the Dash 4 Cash Playoff standings Tim Knott holds a one point lead over Jim Foose for the final playoff position.

Turning right is not common in the American Sim Racing Series, as this marks only the third appearance of the Cup Series cars on a road course since the league moved to iRacing in 2011.

A first time ASRS road course winner is guaranteed tonight as no former road course winners are entered in tonight’s 125 mile event.
