Under the setting sun of the evening, Brad Cross led wire to wire in race #1 of the Duel on the Dirt, bringing his #30 Coffman Racing Graphics sprint car to Victory Lane in the very first ASRS Sprint Car Series Presented by Perch’n main event.  Stephen Pearce was second followed by a very fast Jim Foose in third.  Kris Titus and Tim Knott rounded out the top five in a race that featured three cautions for nine laps with 14 starters.

The field was re-racked with Brad Cross starting at the tail (a nod to short tracks across the country), Stephen Pearce shot off the pole and led flag to flag in this 30 lap feature, taking his #16 to victory lane for the first time since winning an Xfinity Series race in March of 2016.  The second feature, run under the lights, saw just one caution for three laps.  Brandon Boyd was second, Foose again was third, followed by Tm Knott and Rex Hoyle to complete the top five.
