(RICHMOND, VA) The season finale for the ASRS Super Late Model Tour took place Wednesday night at Richmond International Raceway  and nobody could have prepared for what was going to happen when the lights came on at the 3/4 mile d-shaped oval.  Jim Foose entered the night with a four point advantage over Matt Vaade in the championship standings.

Jonathan Holstein led the field the green flag in the #70 Skeeber Flob’s Chevrolet as the field of 23 prepared for 100 laps of short track racing.  It didn’t take long for action to take place and championship battles to heat up.  Through it all seven cautions slowed the pace, while six drivers swapped the lead nine times.  Mogard took the lead for 81 laps and drove to victory at the end of the race.  Jordan Harnish was second, followed by Allan Young, Brad Cross and Ben Nile who rounded out the top five.
