(CLEVELAND, OH) The ASRS Super Late Model Tour has received a greenlight for the 2017 season and will run Wednesday nights from March to June before giving way for the the summer series, which is expected to be the first ASRS series to race on dirt.

The Super Late Model Tour has seen a riveting championship battle, great short track racing and it’s fair share of action that only the short tracks could bring.

The 2017 schedule calls for 16 races spread over 12 weeks and will feature four doubleheader races.  Lanier National Speedway, Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, Langley Speedway and Concord Speedway will all feature the doubleheader format, which will run Twin 50s at Thompson and Concord and Twin 75’s at Lanier and Langley.

Each race will count as a full points event and will utilize different track conditions and time of day.  Race will be run in the late afternoon and night at Lanier, Thompson and Langley while Concord will feature an afternoon and late afternoon race.  The first races will feature a random track state before the second race will be heavily used (100% track state).

The Skeeber Flob’s Kettle Corn Pro Series kicks off the 2017 calendar on Wednesday nights from January to March.
